Ascot – Friday 26th July 2013

There looks to be a couple of horse running at Ascot today who can give us a good start to the weekend.

Homeric comes into this race after a solid 7th here in the Ascot Stakes at The Royal Meeting. In that race he found trouble in running two furlongs out and had to be switched left. He shouldn’t get this issue today in a six runner field. Previous to that Ascot run he had won over course and distance on the 10th of May.

Three year olds have won this race seven times in the last ten years. So I want to keep that stat onside, espcially when my selection won a Listen Handicap at The Royal Meeting. Ultrasonic sets a good standard in this but Annecdote looks a decent price. She ran on well and held off her challengers in The Sandringham, reciveing weight here she can do the same again.
