There was only one horse I wanted to back in this after I saw The Nunthorpe, JAWALA was really impressive that day to hold off Shea Shea and Sole Power. He has a low draw and is on the side with likely pace setter Hamza. I think the York form is the strongest in the therefore I’m happy to side with him.

SANDIVA was one of my big fancies at Royal Ascot however she only managed to finish 2nd behind Kiyoshi that day. With Kiyoshi following that up with some good performances behind Rizeena and Vorda I’m happy to give her another chance today. Rizeena and Vorda both have form with he strongest 2 year-old I’ve seen this season, No Nay Never, and that’s a strong enough form line for me to want to back her here. She also has a form line with Straight Thinking that puts her ahead of Less Talk In Paris. Royalmania has started both her races so far at odds on and as expected won them but I don’t think that form means she should be favourite in this.

There’s only one horse of interest in this race and I see no way MOONLIGHT CLOUD gets beaten. On all know form she is so far ahead of these that she should be 1/2. She has form behind Black Caviar in the past, this season she has already beaten Gordon Lord Byron and American Devil so I don’t see how they are going to reverse the form.
