The Championship 9th November

Blackpool are simply too big a price in this, they are unbeaten at home all season and face a side who haven’t won away all season. From Blackpool’s seven home games this season they’ve kept five clean sheets. After watching Ipswich at home to Barnsley last week they don’t look to have that much going forward. With Blackpool 4th in the league, 10 points and 9 places better off than Ipswich I cannot see why they are bigger than 2.1x to win this.

Bournemouth are now dropping down to the levels that I expected of them at the start of the season. They currently sit bottom of the form table and travel to a the team at the top of it. Burnley are averaging almost two goals a game and they’ve kept a clean sheet in half of their fourteen games this season. Bournemouth’s record away against top half sides this season is played four, won none, drawn one and lost three. Compare that to Burnley’s home record against bottom half sides, played four, won three and drawn one, and you have all the ingredients fro a home win. If this was QPR or Leicester facing Bournemouth this weekend the price would be 1.6x.
