Despite Middlesbrough’s awful away record they remain solid at the riverside this season. They are unbeaten in eight at home since their opening day defeat to Leicester. Five of those eight have ended in draws but a win over Bolton and a draw with Watford before that show that they are starting to improve under Aitor Karanka. Narrow 2-1 defeats at both Derby and Leeds aren’t bad form and a 2-2 draw at Birmingham last time is an encouraging sign.

Brighton are also on a good run of form, having only lost one of their last eight. However they come into this without their Goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak and centre back Gordon Greer. With Middlesbrough being the third highest scorers at home in the league I cannot see them keeping Middlesbrough out. For that reason I think that Middlesbrough are the team to side with in this match.

Barnsley have stopped scoring goals. They’ve now failed to score in four of their last five and now find themselves bottom of the league. To contrast that Yeovil have found some form and have now scored in their last four matches. However I don’t hold out much hope for goals in this match. I can see Barnsley trying to keep this tight as they will be cut adrift if they lose. Yeovil will be happy with a point or to grab a 1-0. With both teams cancelling each other out in a tight relegation battle I was expecting Both Teams To score No to be priced up at 2.00 max.
