TAC DE BOISTRON was impressive when winning a Group One on very soft ground on his last start in October, that win came on the back of a 2nd place finish on Arc day. Like all two mile races form lines are muddled, so you have to take a chance and attempt to read how the race will pan out.

Harris Tweed beat the selection at Goodwood last season. The Haggas horse will attempt to make all from the front, he attempted that at Ascot on Champions Day last year when he was beaten by a nose in the run in.

Simenon has been globe trotting recently and it hasn’t really worked out, he has the class to win this race but hasn’t been at his best on recent starts.

Backing the top weight in this takes a bit of a leap of faith, but he has the Group One form in the book and handles soft ground at odds of 4.50 I’m taking the chance that he has more class than the rest of these. Hopefully he’ll be able to reel in Harris Tweed before the line.
