Trifolium was favourite for The Arkle, I said that day that he need a lot of cut in the ground and for that reason I’ll be taking him on again today. HINTERLAND won his first two starts of the season, before unseating in the Champion Chase when travelling well last time out. He also has previous form behind the likes of Simonsig and Captain Conan. The Nicholls horse is the most experienced in this race and that taken with his previous for is enough for me.

Back Hinterland at 4.00 – General

KATGARY would have won at Cheltenham if he hadn’t of been badly hampered two out. I was really impressed by his run that day and said to myself I’d back him next time out. Even though this s a handicap, he looks like he has loads of potential and he should improve for that last run. I was expecting to see him at sub 4.00, so 4.50 is enough for me to get involved.
