Spurs are still in the hunt for a European place, despite what people say they do need to be in the Europa League at least. Despite conceding an average of 1.41 goals per game, they have kept clean sheets in 41% of their home games. Eleven of their Seventeen have ended with at least one side keeping a clean sheet.

Fulham average 0.76 goals per game on the road and have failed to score in 53% of their away games. Despite their recent ‘improvement’ I don’t put a win at Aston Villa down as anything special and all reports suggest that they were very fortunate to beat Norwich last weekend. They’ve also only managed to score in two of their eight trips to top half sides.

With Fulham’s lack of firepower on the road, I expect them to struggle to score even against an inconsistent Spurs side.

This game brings two of the leagues clean sheet specialist together, they have a combined 24 shut-outs from their 68 games, that’s 35%. Neither of them are massive goalscorers either, on 28 combined occasions these teams have failed to find the net, 41%.

All the stats point to a low scoring game and Both Teams to Score No, yet that outcome is priced at 1.92.

YES NO

Predicted Odds 2.508068 1.6631

Chelsea’s last six home games have seen them concede ZERO goals. They’ve kept nine clean sheets at home and seven away from home, that’s a total of 16 shut-outs, a league high. Although Sunderland raise their game against the ‘top’ sides they are still an awful footballing side full of players who simply don’t care. They’ve failed to score in seven of their away games against the ten sides above them. They average 0.94 goals per game, that does rise to 1.00 on the road, but they’ve failed to score in 41% of their away games.

It will be tough for Sunderland to just score a goal let alone get anything from the match. The strong Both Teams To Score No trends had me expecting to see ‘no’ priced at around 1.66 but Bet Victor are going 1.78, that’s the value in my book.
